About our Cognitive Assessments
Berry Collective Psychology offers a range of cognitive assessments for clients of all ages. A cognitive assessment enables parents, caregivers and family members to understand an individual’s strengths, weaknesses and learning style. A cognitive assessment may have an educational focus and can help to maximise academic potential. Our assessments can also help clarify the nature of an individual’s difficulties and answer queries you may have about the presence of a disorder.
All assessments will be completed with a feedback session during which you will receive all testing results, a comprehensive written report, and practical evidence-based strategies to assist the individual to thrive in terms of academic/occupational functioning, relationships and mental health. With your consent we can share this information with other support people, including teachers and case workers. We can also meet with school staff to assist them to understand the individual’s needs and the recommended strategies.
If ongoing support is indicated, such as occupational therapy, speech therapy or psychiatry, we can provide careful recommendations to suit you and your family.
